Simone Gaiarin was born in Pordenone in 1987. He received the Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Padova (Italy) in July 2013 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude.

Since September 2013 he is working with the research group of quantum optics at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova as research fellow.
